Footloose Base Facilities in Tortola
Footloose is proud to announce that all its charterers have complete access to a new luxury Facility in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. This facility is the most modern and environmentally friendly charter base in the Caribbean. Located on an extension at the southern end of the previously existing property, the complex was designed entirely around the needs of sailors. Stroll along the open plaza enjoying the panoramic views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel as you visit the new retail shops or savor island pastries, ice cream and gourmet coffee served in the new cafe. For something a little more pampering for that salty dog sailor why not visit the full service spa which provides the latest in relaxing treatments. A must though is a relaxing cocktail and a bite to eat at Charlie’s Bar and Restaurant, built over the water and overlooking the harbor, where the coldest cocktails and a first-class yet informal menu are offered. Another relaxing diversion is the pool and if a refreshing dip can’t keep your mind from the outside world free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the village. New ocean front hotel rooms offer luxury accommodation overlooking the harbor, perfect for those wishing to extend their vacation, while the majority of the existing rooms have undergone a major renovation. Footloose has enjoyed considerable growth over the last few years, and this move will allow us to accommodate our expanding fleet and improve services for our owners and charter guests, as well as manage more efficient operations so we can continue to offer the right yachts at the best prices!
The prior Footloose location will be used for a dedicated turnaround facility which will allow us to completely separate the cleaning and turn around maintenance from our yachts that are starting and ending and provide our guests and boat owners with a much more pleasant departure and return experience.
